nemo2342We've sunk to a new low at work. Today some men from store maintenance came in, and I jokingly asked them what they were here to break today (I thought they had come to fix the fire alarm, by the way). They smiled and said that they had come to turn off the lights, so I laughed and told them that they could go right ahead.
They weren't joking.
They have seriously turned off about 30% of the stores overhead lights, in an effort to save money. Now I know it's been a pretty hot summer, but this is really pretty tacky. The store looks dingier without all the lights on, and I've already gotten a couple of complaints about it. Way to go, Food Lion!
