(no subject)
Apr. 6th, 2005 02:21 amYes, I'm still alive (though sometimes I might wish otherwise). I haven't been up to much lately, hence the lack of updates. All I do lately is work, and try to get better. My visits to the chiropractor are finally paying off, as my crippling headaches have stopped (though I'm not sure what will happen if I were to, say, jump around like I used to) and the time between visits is getting longer.
However, my shoulder has not been getting better, and honestly has started to hurt more and more. So I finally broke down and went to an orthopaedist, to have him look at my arm. He thinks that I have aggrivated tendonitis, so he gave me some anti-inflammatory medication, ordered me not to run a cash register for two weeks, and sent me to physical therapy.
The physical therapist says that I have no strength in my right arm (compared to my left arm I guess, it's not totally useless) and that I've lost some of my mobility. However, he says that with a lot of work and a lot of pain he can get my arm working at 100% again. My first appointment was today, and I can already tell that I'm going to wish my arms would fall off when I wake up in the morning.
Speaking of sleep, that's where I'm headed now. I need to get some rest, or else I'll never be able to shake off this blasted cold I've managed to catch.
