Customers are just...odd

I was working at the Food Lion today (6:45am to 3:00pm) when something funny happened. This old man came through my line with some drinks and a loaf of bread. This gentlemen quickly proceeds to complain loudly to me about the lack of Food Lion grain bread, and informs me that if we can't keep it stocked we shouldn't carry it all. I just nod and smile at the man, trying my best not to say something sarcastic back at him while the customer behind him is trying not to laugh. As the old man is leaving the store he turns to me and says "I'm the governor of Mt. Pleasant, and I ought to get my way. You just tell them [the managers] that." Just as soon as he walked out the door I turned to the other customer and said (with a completely straight face) "I don't care if he's the King of France, there's not a damn thing I can do about the bread." The customer just died laughing.

lol... c'est amusant.. how are u hun?? i wish there were more par-ti-ci-pation parties round here... rocky isnt comin near me til 2002 ::sigh:: but i guess its worth the wait :)

I'm ok. Got a few days off this week, so I'm just lazing around until I have to work again on Friday.
