It is indeed a kitty. Sometime in the distant past I was linked to a picture of two kittens fighting in a dojo, and decided that the kittens were too cute for them not to be my icon. In fact, all my icons are kittens. There's the "Normal" two kittens fighting with martial arts picture, there's the "Happy/Energetic" pouncing kitten, and there's the "Oh no!/That's sad" picture of a kitten (you'll just have to see that one to believe it).

Upon closer inspection, it does appear that the kitten on the right is wearing some kind of Goku/martial arts pants. Looks like you're not hallucinating. And the chair is working as intended, thanks.

At first glance the kitty on the left looks kinda like a hamster... ehh... if you made it a story, it looks like the left one is gonna behead the right one... that wouldn't be cool... Nah, it would probably be more like an anime. The kitties would grunt and raise their powerlevels and beat on each other for three weeks worth of episodes (which takes about 5 minutes of their time) and end up just calling it a draw.
