Both my mother and my sister left early this morning to visit their respective boyfriends, so I was left alone in house. However, all was not lost, as Jessica (velvetined) invited me to come hang out with her and her housemates Jason (foxzero) and David (j_z). Yes, I do go over to random lj people's homes, that probably makes me some kind of addict.

Anyway, they supplied the turkey (food) and I supplied the turkies (movies) ;). We ended up watching "Starcrash", "Buckaroo Bonzai", and "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey". "Starcrash" went over really well, and we had a great time laughing at the special effects, the horrible dialouge, and the unoriginal plot. "Buckaroo Bonzai" was a bust though, and none of us really seemed to care for it. David and Jessica fell asleep durring parts of it, and I can't really blame them. In retrospect I should have grabbed something else, but for whatever reason I felt compelled to give Buckaroo another shot. We ended our turkey feast by watching "Bogus Journey", which turned out to be a good decision. After the disapointment of Buckaroo it was nice to have a movie we could all laugh at.

Afterwards we hung out for a couple of hours bitching about livejournal, online fads, and lapsing into awkward silences. I finally excused myself around 10pm, as it was getting late and everyone was obviously kind of tired. However, I did have a great time, and hopefully we'll get back together again soon (I'm thinking Saturday, unless some cute girl takes me home from Rocky Horror).
